CMA Recruitment Group is currently partnering with an established and expanding Yeovil based business who operate as part of a wider Group. They require a Management Accountant to join on a permanent basis; this is a newly created position.
Working closely with the Managing Director, the successful candidate will carry out a varied remit of management accounting for this construction based business.
What will the Management Accountant role involve?
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines.
2. Completion of year end reconciliation and reports, including supporting with statutory accounts.
3. Budgeting & forecasting, reporting to Directors.
4. Accounts analysis and providing insight into the numbers.
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
1. An ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant is ideal for this opportunity.
2. Previous experience working in the construction industry sector is advantageous.
3. Able to communicate with stakeholders and non-finance colleagues.
4. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of ERP systems.
