Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Ipswich and Suffolk region. This role involves working remotely to cover our sites, requiring strong electrical engineering principles and excellent customer facing skills.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to work on commercial building maintenance projects, covering PPMs and reactive duties across multiple sites. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to emergency breakdowns, and ensuring all tasks are completed to agreed service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Travelling to commercial settings throughout the Ipswich and Suffolk area
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment
* Responding to emergency breakdowns and reactive tasks allocated
* Carrying out inspections, fault finding, and diagnosis
* Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels
* Completing job sheets electronically using a Tablet or Smartphone
* Maintaining site-based records and log books
* Carrying out general cleaning and housekeeping to maximise life expectancy of all equipment
* Proactively working to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommending improvements
* Working to all health, safety, compliance, and local policies and procedures
* Maintaining excellent relationships with customers – face-to-face, telephone, and email

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical or equivalent qualification
* Commercial building maintenance experience in a customer-facing environment
