Thank you for your interest in our Y3–4 Team Leader position at Clarkville Te Kura ki Waimātao. This position attracts 1 permanent management unit.
Clarkville Te Kura ki Waimātao is a high-performing, innovative, and collaborative school, just 5 minutes drive from northern Christchurch and Kaiapoi.
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative professional to join our highly collaborative teaching team. You will lead our Y3–4 learning space and programme, working with one other teacher and approximately 50 ākonga. Our students are hardworking young people and a pleasure to teach.
The successful applicant will be able to build effective relationships with ākonga and whānau and model a growth mindset.
Your knowledge of curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment will ensure the best possible outcomes for ākonga in your learning space. We have strong literacy, mathematics, and inquiry programmes that ensure our ākonga have the very best learning opportunities and achieve highly. Effective structured literacy practice is essential.
You will join an effective leadership team with a distributed leadership model. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with a desire to grow or extend their leadership capability.
