* 40 hours M-F 8am-5pm 5 Days in the office.
The team consists of 1 line manager, another BP, and 2 administrators, and you will work closely with them.

Job Description
As the primary point of contact for Business Unit leads, you will fully support their key business performance issues, objectives, and drivers, along with associated people requirements for both current and future business challenges.
1. Report and gain support and advice from the People Operations Sub Divisional Partner.
2. Provide generalist support to Business Unit leads on a day-to-day basis.
3. Ensure confidentiality is maintained (Data Protection and GDPR) – including emails, letters, filing, etc.
4. Ensure accurate and timely data entry onto HR systems to maintain data integrity.
5. Provide management information as requested.
6. Ensure all requests have been correctly approved and are processed within agreed timescales (e.g., payroll data, leaver processing, reporting, new starter information).
7. Support the reconciliation of payroll adjustments for both weekly paid and salaried staff.
8. Assist with in-house awareness/training material that guides managers on expected practices and Company procedures.
9. Provide proactive, accurate, and timely support for employee relations cases, such as Discipline, Grievance, Dismissal, Appeals, Redundancy, and TUPE.
10. Review, monitor, and manage Sickness Absence Management, working with managers to achieve early conclusions while following policy and procedures.
11. Work with managers on performance and capability issues, including Performance Improvement Plans and action plans, as directed.
12. Ensure that advice aligns with prevailing legislation and/or Company policy to minimize risk to the Company.
13. Demonstrate knowledge of current Company practices and associated legislation by providing the right advice confidentially and authoritatively.
14. Keep abreast of changes in employment legislation.
15. Act as the Subject Matter Expert for all employees, answering queries on process and policy, and referring to the PO lead for comprehensive responses as needed.
16. Facilitate and report back on regular meetings with key managers/stakeholders to understand business activities and their potential impact on the function.
17. Attend and engage fully in any learning and development activities deemed appropriate by your line management.
18. Champion EDI across all areas of the business unit.
19. Collaborate with the P&C Partner to assist in identifying potentials in the subdivision and conducting potential reviews.
