Our client is a global plastics manufacturer with a number of high volume production facilities across Europe. There is a current requirement an experienced BRC, Quality Control & Health & Safety (H&S) Manager to lead and maintain BRC certification, oversee quality control processes, and manage health & safety compliance within their operations. This role will ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are fit for purpose, perform gap analysis reviews, and implement necessary improvements to uphold industry and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: BRC Certification & Quality Control: Lead and maintain BRC (British Retail Consortium) certification to ensure ongoing compliance. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement. Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up to date, relevant, and aligned with BRC standards. Collaborate with various departments to implement corrective and preventive actions where required. Work closely with suppliers and customers to ensure product safety, quality, and compliance. Manage and oversee quality control procedures throughout the production process.Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety (H&S) legislation and company policies. Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify potential hazards. Develop and deliver H&S training programs to promote a safe working environment. Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. Maintain and update H&S documentation, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.Required Skills & Experience: Strong experience in BRC certification and quality control within plastics manufacturing, packaging, or food industries. Proven background in Health & Safety management, with a solid understanding of H&S regulations. Experience in conducting audits, gap analysis, and writing SOPs. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong leadership and communication abilities to work cross-functionally with teams.
