As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across the science curriculum. You will join a supportive and forward-thinking department that values creativity, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons that align with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing targeted support as needed
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
- Contribute to the development of departmental schemes of work and resources
- Participate in extracurricular activities and science enrichment programmes
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Science or a related subject
- Proven experience teaching Science at secondary school level
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
- Commitment to continuous professional development
