Your new role
As amunications officer based in the Midlands, your role will be to create engaging content, including writing stories and organising thepanies’munications to promote thepany and spread brand awareness in the local area. You will be expected to travel around the Midlands spanning from Staffordshire, Lincolnshire, Worcestershire, and Northamptonshire, having the opportunity to interview interesting people and tell their stories.
Within your role ofmunications Officer, you will liaise with our service leaders and local congregations throughout the UK to promote our initiatives withinmunity settings. This role entails discovering and crafting the genuine stories of our service users, as well as coordinating significant events. You will aid the PR &munications managers and colleagues in developing and implementing externalmunication strategies, as well as carrying out detailed evaluations to measure their effectiveness. You will create and obtain engaging news stories and coverage across prominent regional and local channels, including print, broadcast, and digital media, through both proactive and reactive media activities.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must have recent press office experience. You must be proficient in using social media and digital channels. You must have a passion for working in a charity environment and be able to clearly demonstrate the motivation and desire to work for a charity during an interview. You must have a full UK driving licence to travel in this role.
