We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Lender Relationship Manager
to build and manage relationships with lenders, helping to define and refine the best case
criteria for successful settlements. You will play a critical role in ensuring our claims are
processed efficiently while maximising outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Develop & Manage Lender Relationships: Build strong, strategic partnerships with
car finance lenders to facilitate smooth negotiations and settlements.
Define Settlement Criteria: Analyse lender policies, case law, and regulatory
guidelines to establish clear case criteria for optimal claim settlements.
Negotiation & Case Strategy: Work closely with internal legal and claims teams to
ensure we secure the best possible outcomes for clients.
Industry & Regulatory Monitoring: Stay up to date with FCA regulations and
industry trends to adapt our settlement approach accordingly.
Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the claims process and propose
solutions to enhance efficiency and success rates.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with legal, compliance, and operations teams to
align case strategies with regulatory best practices.
Who You Are
Experience: Previous experience in financial services, car finance, claims
management, or lender negotiations.
Analytical Thinker: Ability to interpret lending agreements, regulatory frameworks,
and case precedents to define winning claim strategies.
Strong Negotiator: Skilled in handling lender discussions, navigating objections,
and securing favourable settlements.
Commercially Minded: Understands financial risk, lender operations, and the
impact of settlements on both parties.
Excellent Communicator: Able to influence stakeholders, build rapport, and present
compelling case arguments.
