The Opportunity
Nutanix is looking for an Enterprise Account Manager for the UK Financial Services team. As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling Nutanix’s Products and Solutions through Channel Partners and interacting directly with customers. You will also work closely with a Sales Engineer. We seek a dynamic hunter capable of managing the full sales cycle from cold-calling and prospecting to closing deals.
Essential to success in this role is a keen ability to develop new accounts and penetrate new divisions and organizations within your assigned accounts. Nutanix offers unrivaled support and tools from the Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development departments to help you exceed sales performance goals. You will work closely with co-founders and VPs and have significant influence on sales team decisions and initiatives.

Our sales team excels at developing new accounts and penetrating new divisions within existing accounts. Nutanix provides extensive support from various departments to help you surpass sales targets.
Your role
1. Own the end-to-end sales strategy for a select group of existing and new accounts within the Tier 1 and 2 Financial Services sector (UK headquarters and multinational institutions).
2. Forge and cultivate relationships with Partners (Resellers, Global Systems Integrators, and Alliances) to align go-to-market strategies with Nutanix ecosystem Partners.
3. Coordinate your Nutanix virtual team across end-user engagements.
4. Use a consultative approach to discuss business issues with prospects and develop formal quotes, proposals, or presentations addressing their needs.
5. Identify, influence, and respond to RFPs, following up with prospects.
6. Develop account plans for Tier 1 Accounts based on their business needs.
7. Build and strengthen relationships with current accounts and new prospects by promoting Nutanix’s impact within Financial Services organizations.
8. Recommend marketing strategies.
9. Provide status updates, including forecast and pipeline information, to your manager.
What you will bring
1. Proven track record in managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting and direct contact.
2. A passion for acquiring new clients and a history of onboarding new major accounts.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
4. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across sales, marketing, sales operations, systems engineering, and product development.
5. Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques.
6. Understanding of how technology products and solutions address business problems and awareness of the competitive landscape.
7. Experience in the Financial Services sector is preferred but not essential.
