We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Business Analyst to lead the development and coordination of internal tools designed to support data quality and data remediation efforts. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, third-party API integration, and workflow optimization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid technical background, and a proven track record in driving data quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination and Management:
* Lead cross-functional teams to define, develop, and implement internal tools and solutions aimed at improving data quality and remediation processes.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
2. Data Analysis and Quality Assurance:
* Conduct extensive data analysis to identify data quality issues, patterns, and trends.
* Develop and maintain data quality metrics and dashboards to monitor and report on the health of data assets.
* Implement data validation and cleansing techniques to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
* Create comprehensive documentation for data quality processes, tools, and API integrations.
* Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations.
4. Integration of Third-Party APIs:
* Evaluate and integrate third-party APIs to enhance internal workflows and data remediation efforts.
* Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure seamless API integration and data flow between systems.
* Monitor and troubleshoot API performance and connectivity issues.
5. Process Improvement and Automation:
* Identify opportunities to automate data quality and remediation processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
* Design and implement workflow automation tools and scripts to streamline data management tasks.
6. Stakeholder Communication and Training:
* Act as a liaison between business users, data governance teams, and IT to ensure alignment on data quality objectives and initiatives.
* Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to educate stakeholders on data quality best practices and tool usage
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
* 5+ years of experience in a business analyst role with a focus on data quality, data analysis, and remediation.
* Strong proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and data analysis software (e.g., Python, R).
* Experience with API integration and working knowledge of RESTful APIs.
* Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully leading complex projects.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in the financial services industry or other data-intensive sectors.
* Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices.
* Knowledge of data quality tools and platforms (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Collibra).
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) or data management (e.g., CDMP).
