Actual Salary £21,662 - £22,716 per annum (Grade 6) This job is {Full Time/ Part Time/ Part Time - Term Time Only:} for 37 hours per week and 39 weeks per year. It is offered on a Permanent basis. {Fixed Term Duration or End Date:} Approximate start date 24/02/2025. We require a Pastoral Officer to provide support, encouragement and pastoral care to pupils at the school. To work with a range of stakeholders, parents, support staff, outreach agencies and other schools to ensure the continuity and progress of individual pupils, especially with regard to self-esteem. Main job purpose: Identify and support children through therapeutic counselling approach. Support Heads of Year and the wider pastoral team with conflicts and situations as they arise. Work with small groups on identified issues Be available during lunch and break times to deal with immediate situations as they arise. Liaise, communicate with and manage interactions with key external agencies and internal staff. Support in meetings with children and families. Ensure appropriate records are maintained.
