Job title: Business Relationship Manager

Salary: From £60,000 dependant on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
1. BRMs provide engagement with the business, ensuring a close relationship exists between the Lines of Business and Function
2. Understand business strategic direction, roadmaps, requirements, and challenges
3. Capture business demand and support/ facilitate business definition of requirements
4. Understand the forward view of business demand to feed into medium-term IM&T planning, e.g. contract technology release schedules
5. Assure and provide oversight of all IM&T delivery
6. Provide an IM&T interface for all IT matters - the customer face of IM&T the point of escalation for IM&T partners
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
1. Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to apply skills and knowledge to a wide range of complex problems
2. A strategic thinker with the ability to distil complex issues, opportunities and challenges
3. Previous experience from a Manufacturing, Defence or IT discipline
Desirable:
1. Qualification or equivalent in (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) ITIL, or extensive relevant experience
2. Application of Business Relationship Management (BRM)/Programme Engagement across multi-disciplinary organisations

The IM&T Team:
This position will provide you with a unique opportunity to represent IM&T in a leadership role within one of the Submarine programmes - ICS; engaging with the business at a strategic level and influencing the IM&T related direction of the boat programmes. You will be working in partnership with this business area to ensure effective relationships between ICS and IM&T are maintained, Strategic Investments are planned, and Critical Service issues are addressed as priority.
