As a Talent Acquisition Adviser for our Technology and Transformation areas, you will help us find the very best talent. You’ll proactively source and identify suitable candidates, using advanced direct sourcing techniques. Working directly with the Talent Acquisition Partner for Technology and Transformation and our internal hiring managers, you will be involved in managing the end-to-end recruitment process for all IT and Transformation vacancies. Key responsibilities • Attending briefing sessions with the Talent Acquisition Partner to fully acknowledge the work our stakeholders do, so the job you’re recruiting for is well articulated and understood • Collaborating with the Talent Acquisition Partner to be aware of project requirements, identifying necessary skill sets and staffing needs, and creating resource plans considering availability and timelines. Managing and delivering projects aligned to overall project plans. • Successfully sourcing technology and transformation candidates and building talent pipelines for the future using your knowledge of effective techniques such as LinkedIn Recruiter searches, job board posting, CV database searches • Acting as a brand ambassador for our organisation. Engaging with candidates who may not be looking to work here, by acknowledging their aspirations – you’ll be promoting the Service as a great place to work. Keeping our candidates engaged throughout the recruitment process. • Overall management of end-to-end recruitment processes including managing the application tracking system (Workday), candidate management, interview scheduling and candidate onboarding. • Screening and managing candidates’ applications, from initial conversations, right through to the end of their recruitment journey. • Identifying, developing and recommending recruitment methods and activities to advance our DEI strategy. • Telephone interviewing for our specialist roles. • Managing all advertising avenues, uploading roles onto our website and job boards • Providing data and other follow up actions in a timely manner, as needed, following meetings with colleagues. Maintain accurate records of resource allocation, schedules, and other databases. • Acting as a central point for colleagues and candidates - responding to queries via phone or email to help them have a great experience with us • Delivering and sharing Talent Acquisition best practice across HR • Promoting and helping to build an inclusive working environment • Making sure we’re delivering a fair and efficient service, that reflects the diversity of our customers and our people, through everything we do To be considered for this role, you’ll need to show us that you’ve got the skills and capabilities. You’ll have to meet the following minimum criteria: Minimum Criteria • Proven technology and/ or transformation talent acquisition experience, you’ll have worked in an ‘in house’ or you’ll have seen success in an agency setting. • Have experience of specialist recruitment and sourcing hard to fill roles. You’ll need to be comfortable with being flexible and working on multiple roles at one time. • Expert in using LinkedIn as a talent pipeline, direct sourcing and a market mapping tool. • A passion for first class candidate experience and the confidence to speak to passive candidates • Familiar with applicant tracking systems, online tools and grasping different recruitment processes, selection tools and psychometric testing Desirable Criteria We would also like you to have the following skills: • Having an understanding of employment legislations that affect recruitment for example IR35 and sponsorships • Being people solutions oriented and having a proactive approach with strong attention to detail • The ability to work collaboratively to achieve results – having the drive to deliver the right outcomes and results • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and Workday experience • Project management experience Why Financial Ombudsman Service?
