Temp Station are delighted to announce we are currently recruiting a Transport Administrator to join a busy and established freight forwarding client in the Normanton WF6 area on a permanent basis.
Transport Administrator job description:
1. Manage the group trailer pool allocation
2. Ensure all sub-contractor invoices are processed in a timely manner in line with company cut off dates
3. Run the internal invoices through the TMS on a weekly basis
4. Work closely with the planning team & operations to ensure data input is accurate
5. Be the first point of contact to the UK domestic customer database (taking on bookings / answering queries regarding a booking)
6. Invoicing any UK customer bookings once the job is completed.
7. Providing quotes to customers via calls and emails
8. Provide holiday cover for planning assistant where required
9. MUST have 2 years’ experience working in a transport environment
