The AWP Partnership seeks a dynamic, organised and skilled Site Manager to oversee and maintain school sites at Acre Heads, Springhead and Willerby Carr Lane Primary Schools. The three schools, all maintained by East Riding of Yorkshire Council are within a five-mile radius of each other.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a multi-site role, working across all three schools on a rotational basis (one week per site).
Work bases include Acre Heads Primary School, Anlaby Common, Springhead Primary School, Anlaby and Willerby Carr Lane Primary School.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising and supporting a team of caretakers and cleaners
* Upholding and monitoring health and safety regulations
* Ensuring compliance with legal maintenance and statutory site requirements
* Overseeing and co-ordinating site maintenance work, including planning, conducting, and contracting necessary repairs/improvements
* Managing site security including overseeing contractors and safeguarding protocols
* Supporting the schools with events, lettings and general caretaking duties
* Providing on-call cover on a rota basis for alarm activations (for which an additional payment will be made).
Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday.

Your suitability to work with children will be explored at all stages of the recruitment process. You will, in accordance with statutory guidance, be subject to a comprehensive pre-employment check process including receipt of a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), a Children's Barred List check, a Section 128 Management Check if relevant, Prohibition check and overseas checks as applicable, identity check, medical clearance, proof of qualifications, satisfactory references and a check regarding your eligibility to work in the UK.
