The role supports our business’ aim to be a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, partnering with customers on their journey towards carbon neutrality and serving 5-10% of the UK business energy market by 2030. The Sales Support Representative is a member of the Sales Operations team and reports to the Sales Operations Manager. The role is responsible for operational Sales support across the I&C and strategic portfolio, providing dedicated resource for the most strategically valuable opportunities and relationships, and our more complex product suite. The Sales Support Representative provides an effective liaison between Business Development Managers out in the field, internal departments in the office, our direct customers and third-party partners, facilitating on behalf of Sales through the sales journey. More specific responsibilities include: Responsible for the accurate, timely set-up and associated data quality of Commercial & Industrial and other strategic opportunities, including flexible energy purchasing, baskets and other groups/large multi-sites, within the pricing tool and CRM. Management of administrative lead / tender-to-quote processes on behalf of Business Development Managers Dedicated Sales support resource for ‘platinum’ third party intermediary relationships, direct C&I and other strategic direct accounts. Point of contact for general sales queries from dedicated relationships when the Business Development Manager is unavailable (email, direct line calls and general Sales line overflow only) Pricing support on behalf of Business Development Managers as required, communicating with colleagues to understand pricing requirements. Attendance at direct customer/third-party intermediary meetings as required. Other ad-hoc tasks at the request of the Sales Operations Manager and/or Sales Director Adherence to company behaviors, values and policies. What we need from you We are keen to hear from individuals with sales and pricing support experience ideally in flexible energy purchasing. We also hope you possess the following skills and/or experience: Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication abilities in both written and verbal forms. Proven track record of forging robust professional relationships, with in-person interaction experience being an advantage. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational acumen, coupled with the capability to distill complex information into clear, concise summaries. Technical and Analytical Skills: Proficiency in advanced data analysis, with a particular emphasis on Excel expertise. Solid familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
