Community Health Partnerships (CHP) is wholly owned by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and a key member of the NHS Family. Set up in 2001, we work to improve community-based health and wellbeing services by providing and managing high quality NHS estate.
Through our LIFT (Local Improvement Finance Trust) programme, 350 local health care buildings were designed, built and funded and are currently operated, with CHP acting as Head Tenant in most.
We have a head office in Manchester and regional offices in Birmingham and London and support a hybrid working model wherever possible in line with the needs of the business. As a People Advisor at CHP you will undertake a key role in supporting an inclusive and high-performance workplace. As a HR generalist you will provide expert advice and guidance and provide an excellent service to the business.
The People Advisor will work closely with the Senior People Manager and Head of People to deliver the People Strategy and supporting business plans. You will deliver a full range of people services such as:
1. Supporting managers and employees in relation to a wide range of employee relations matters, offering a first class, people-centric approach delivering this with excellent coaching skills.
2. Providing professional advice and support on the application of policies, procedures, terms and conditions, legislation, always promoting positive employee relations and ensuring legal obligations are maintained.
3. Managing a variety of employee relations matters, mitigating risk and escalating accordingly, undertaking case reviews and contributing to the upskilling and training of line managers.
4. Supporting the business with workforce planning and organisational change including advising managers on best practice in relation to talent attraction, recruitment and performance management.
5. Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
6. Undertaking and analysing employee data to identify any trends/issues and acting where necessary.
7. Creating and maintaining documentation to support and complement People policies such as process guides and tool kits.
8. Providing strong support to the People team and business whilst managing a variety of tasks, supporting transactional activity which includes recruitment and onboarding, issuing of employment contracts, formal correspondence and the management of central inboxes.
9. Supporting with various projects.
This role will be based in our Manchester office and will involve occasional travel.
Interviews will take place in our Manchester office.
