What you need to succeed in this role:
At a minimum, you will be able to demonstrate:
* A proven, demonstrable knowledge and experience of money advice casework
* Excellent knowledge of welfare benefits policy and regulations
* Experience of income management in a social housing environment
* Experience of interviewing clients about their financial circumstances
* Experience of using and maintaining financial records and IT systems
* Excellent customer care skills
It would be great if you also have:
* A certificate in Money Advice or level 2/3 Diploma in Money and Debt Advice or a qualification from the Institute of Money Advice
* Working knowledge of Housing Benefit and Universal Credit assessment requirement and associated regulations
