Focusing on technology & performing arts subjects, as a Technology & Performing Arts Technician you would be responsible for preparing & maintaining equipment and teaching areas for practical classes!
Technology & Performing Arts Technician:
You will be helping students to obtain the most out of their learning experiences by assisting when required in practical lessons, supporting individual pupils during a practical activity, and modifying apparatus and equipment for those children with physical disabilities.
As a Technology & Performing Arts Technician you will also be responsible for carrying out administrative and other tasks related to the smooth running of the departments, using and maintaining a range of workshop tools, equipment and machinery, carrying out risk assessments and COSHH, and preparing materials and ingredients.
Technology & Performing Arts Technician – The role:
* Support technology & performing arts subjects
* Maintain equipment and teaching areas
* Work with students across KS3 & KS4 lessons
* Ensure students are in a safe learning environment
* Health and safety compliance
* Responsible for stock management & online ordering
Technology & Performing Arts Technician – Qualifications / experience required:
* Experience operating and maintaining equipment
* COSHH qualification is desirable
* Strong communication skills – written and verbal
* Can work individually and as part of a team
* Level of IT competency
* Up to date DBS check
