As part of the significant changes on site at Nuneaton, the requirement of an additional H&S advisor has arisen to support the development of H&S policies as we continue to prioritise health and safety at a site which has expanded in operating lines and headcount over the past 18 months. This position will include broad responsibilities within an autonomous environment to deliver a continuously improving and sustainable health, safety, security and environmental agenda. Within the role, you will develop and manage relationships with internal and stakeholders at all levels, influencing them to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and contribute to a progressive and safe working environment. YOULL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY Ensuring compliance to legislation and company standards through reporting of HSE information and statistics. Being a visible presence on the production floor, building relationships with colleagues across the site, identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Delivering training sessions and inductions to new starters and contractors. Reviewing contractor activities through audit and RAM reviews, writing permits and ensuring discipline to process. Conducting and supporting investigations with documentation and root cause analysis of accidents/incidents/near-misses, ensuring correct processes are followed and corrective actions are triggered. Updating and managing KPI trackers, compliance matrix and H&S systems. Managing environmental systems to ensure site compliance. YOURE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE Are an experienced H&S professional and have a completed NEBOSH certificate. Able to demonstrate experience conducting accident and incident investigations. Experienced creating risk assessments, contractor control, and running audits.
