This role involves supporting and providing competent advice to Sales, Proposals and associated Bid Managers for projects in ensuring that all relevant EHS aspects and resource requirements at each step of an assigned project are identified and evaluated in accordance with internal Siemens Energy requirements. How You’ll Make an Impact Tendering Support in identifying and evaluating H&S requirements (customer, country legislation and Siemens Energy specific requirements) and major H&S risks for incorporation into the opportunity development phase ( customer requirements list, bid concept) and consideration of the bid decision. Bid preparation: Support the integration of H&S requirements in bid documents, ensuring applicable H&S requirements and resources are reflected accordingly in the bid and contract preparation and the project calculation. In particular:Contributes to a hazard/risk evaluation and details the consequences of H&S-related requirements for the bid concept, project calculation (work hours estimates) and project plan.Support to ensure that the H&S-related responsibilities and tasks are adequately defined in the contract proposal between Siemens Energy and the customer (contracting entity).Informs the Project Procurement Manager (PPM) about H&S related requirements ( qualifications, certificates) which are to be considered in the contractor selection.Produces all necessary project/site specific H&S plans as part of the tender submission, CPP, TMP, ERP etc.Contract negotiation and project hand over phases:Supports the PM in updating the H&S risk evaluation and ensure that all H&S- related information and documents are properly handed over to the execution project manager (and the respective EHS MiP in the execution phase).Health and Safety Advisor for the Manchester Site (PE)Provide H&S support for Project Entity activities at the Manchester offices. This includes routine H&S inspections, updating and review of basic risk assessments and potentially minor accident investigation. What You Bring NEBOSH certificate or equivalent in Health & Safety Management.CDM Awareness.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.High levels of IT Literacy (MS Office)An interest in health & safety.A willingness to learn.First Aid at Work (3-day course including use of defibrillator) is desirable.NEBOSH Environmental Management certificate or equivalent would be advantageous.Fire Safety awareness is desirable.Accident investigation is desirable.Lead or internal auditor ISO45001 would be advantageous.
