Job Description Job title: Commercial Account Handler Salary: Up to £30,000 Location: Shropshire (flexibility) PURPOSE OF ROLE We are working with a highly respected insurance brokerage that is looking to add a Commercial Account Handler to its team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in Personal Lines insurance who are eager to transition into the Commercial sector. EXPERIENCE Experience working in Personal Lines insurance is essential. A desire to step into a Commercial Insurance role and develop within this sector. Proven experience in delivering excellent client service in a professional setting. QUALIFICATIONS Ideally working towards or willing to pursue Cert CII (Certificate in Insurance). Strong academic background, coupled with excellent IT proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office). DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are effectively met. Handle policy administration tasks, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims management. Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms for clients. Support the wider team in achieving business targets and delivering exceptional service. SKILLS Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and insurers. Highly organised and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work. Proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
