Arbroath Courthouse Community Trust are looking for a motivated, experienced individual to lead on developing key partnerships and collaborations in order for the community of Arbroath to access, services, training and business opportunities
We need a creative self-starter and strategic thinker with experience of building relationships and managing income streams including grants and community fundraising, events and corporate sponsorship etc.
Responsibilities
Main Tasks
To develop the business and manage the operations at Arbroath Courthouse
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
* Develop a Marketing plan to maximize exposure of the Courthouse complex and develop promotional activities.
* Identify and help secure funding to enable important development work
* Play a key role in the liaison with and in the monitoring of contractors during the redevelopment of the Courthouse at Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the project
* Maintain the quality and reputation of the facility through promotion of operational excellence.
* Management of revenue/ income and ensure value for money.
* Deal with finance to ensure compliance with financial directives and funding requirements.
* Effectively manages and leads the team at the Courthouse
* Ensures all operating policies are followed.
* Produces regular written reports on operational performance as requested by the ACCT Board.
* Recognizes and nurtures volunteers and community involvement.
* Maintains very good working relations with Tenants, Clients hiring spaces and the community.
* Be a strong ambassador for ACCT representing the trust at events and meetings as required
* Maintains an excellent working relationship with the ACCT Board
Experience
* Degree level education or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience and track record in community driven projects or similar relatable experience
* Proven previous management experience in a proactive, results driven environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with developing new I.T skills
* Experience and understanding of social enterprise development.
Skills
* Excellent time management and organization skills with attention to detail.
* Able to work in a self directed way, managing your own workload to provide good quality of support·
* Outstanding interpersonal skills – ability to comfortably interact with representatives at all levels of organizations.·
* Ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy in dealings with a broad range of clients, staff, partners, community, and suppliers
* Strong team player.
* Proven motivational and leadership qualities.
* Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and presentation.
* Ability to think creatively and generate innovative ideas.
* Able to work flexible hours to reflect the nature of the post
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 36 months
Pay: £22,803.00 per year
Expected hours: 21 per week
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* Weekend availability
