Due to continued business growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Operations Director to join the Operations team with a focus on providing support to the wider business. You will join an award-winning team that is making a real impact on the success of Impact Food Group.
The Regional Operations Director is known for inspiring and leading a team, in a fast-paced, collaborative, and engaging environment, with an absolute passion for the customer and for exceeding business objectives.
Role Responsibilities:
* Direct line Management of Operation Managers, meeting and working with them to manage and hit targets, and set objectives
* Generates a culture in which team members are willing to go the extra mile, driving performance through an open coaching culture. Challenges under performance at every level, identifying the need for development or corrective action
* Adaptable and resilient to change as well as being the senior leader who brings the team on the positive journey of change.
* Manage finances and hit targets across their whole region, including sales, COGS, labor, retention, and tender targets on new sites. Be prepared with the detail, so when asked about their regions know the answers. Develops and manages the regions budget for the following year through consultation so that the required financial performance is achieved.
* Questioning the norm - what can be done better, especially around labour productivity, products, and general processes.
* Develop strategies to minimise threats and exploit opportunities, identifying and implementing change where required for business improvement. Develops and improves the annual business plan for the region by working with and including direct reports to ensure direction is agreed.
* Be involved in the sales process to grow the business. Be a confident and passionate presenter of the IFG brands
* Lead Client Relationships, by being involved in any major issues all the way through to the resolution - having the autonomy to resolve. Builds effective relationships with clients and stakeholders so to gain trust and supports the understanding and implementation of business standards.
About You
Qualifications/Skills & Required Experience:
* A minimum of 2 years as a Senior Operations Director within educational catering or B&I
* Have managed a team of at least 6 plus Operations Managers.
* Be strategically exceptional with People, Finance, Quality & Clients.
* Developed and led the strategy for a business, with experience of bringing it to life for all team members
* Ideally managed teams across 100 plus sites
* Currently hitting all performance targets in current role
* ???????Able to travel extensively and stay away from home on a regular basis
