Job summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic ANP to join our clinical team. We are looking for up to 25 hours per week. We are a friendly, successful, 4 Partner practice situated in the heart of Thornbury committed to providing high quality patient health and care services to our c.9000 patients. Main duties of the job We would expect the successful candidate to: Work autonomously using their enhanced clinical assessment and treatment skills, to provide first point of contact for patients presenting with undifferentiated, diagnosed problems relating to minor illnesses or injury. They should be autonomous in making decisions based on assessment, diagnosis and interpretation of test results. They can independently prescribe appropriate medication, evaluate or refer to other specialists if necessary. ANP's in this role will focus solely on same day medical need patients. About us We are a friendly, social team and fair well in the annual GP Patient Survey. We have a growing list size, hence looking to expand our workforce. We are also a GP training practice with 3 of the 4 Partners registered as trainers, therefore we commonly have at least one learner with us at any given time. In addition, we are supported by 2 part time salaried GPs, 2 ANPs, a highly successful nursing team and a dedicated and supportive reception and administrative team. We operate a more traditional model of general practice. We are in the early stages of introducing care navigation, most of our appointments are face to face and we strongly believe in continuity of care.
