About The Role
Are you an experienced Welder/Fabricator looking for your next move? We are currently looking for you to join our team within the busy service centre.
In this role as a Welder/Fabricator, you’ll be joining our Hoist specialist team.
You'll be responsible for repairing and maintaining all Hoist equipment, performing inspections and managing all repairs, reporting any issues. Your key duties will be:
1. Performing inspections of equipment
2. Welding, fabricating, and manufacturing metal parts
3. Production of strong and clean welds
4. Taking care of the welding machine and other equipment
5. Maintaining a safe working environment within the stores areas, observing all current Health and Safety protocols including basic housekeeping
6. Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the department and company

To succeed as a Welder/Fabricator, you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
1. Prior experience in a similar role
2. Previous experience in welding and fabrication
3. Knowledge of safety precautions related to occupational hazards, procedures, and practices of the trade
4. Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues
5. Flexible and self-motivated, taking the initiative and keen to embrace new training opportunities
6. Great communication skills – both verbal and written
7. Effective administration, planning, and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
8. Good IT/Computer skills, including MS Office (Excel and Outlook) & experience of database entry
9. Driving licence
