Job Title: SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide specialised academic support to students with special educational needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' learning experience Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN education policies and practises Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of different learning needs and abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student requirements Organisational skills to manage individualised learning plans Preferred Qualifications: Additional training or certification in SEN education Experience using assistive technology to support students with SEN Working Conditions: This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The work may require travel to different educational settings within Oxfordshire. The tutor may need to work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide the best support for students with SEN.
