The role we’re hiring for is a Water Assistant Engineer (Pre Com) to join our team based in Fleet (Southern travel included) This role involves working with a senior member of the team and travelling to all different sites within the South to provide cleaning services for the commissioning engineers within the Water treatment sector. What you receive for joining us: We’re looking to offer a salary starting at £25,397 per annum. In addition, we’ll make sure you have everything you need to do your job well. You’ll get a company vehicle (which you can also use personally, within reason), along with all the essentials - uniform, PPE, a company phone, fuel card and any tools required to do the role. Most importantly you’ll receive expert training alongside one of our highly qualified engineers to grow your career in water hygiene. On top of that, you’ll enjoy 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. And because we believe birthdays should be celebrated properly, you’ll also get an extra day off just for you Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing: Assist with pre-commission cleaning, commissioning, and flushing works, ensuring that all systems are prepared and fully functional for use across various projects Support in the cleaning and disinfection of shower heads and water heaters, following strict hygiene protocols to ensure safe and compliant water systems for end-users Aid in the cleaning and disinfection of pipework systems, cold water storage tanks, and cooling towers, following BS 8558:2011 guidelines to ensure high standards of water safety and quality Travel to multiple sites across the country, adhering to health and safety guidelines while working on construction sites to maintain safe working practices and compliance Can you show experience in some of these areas: Hold a clean UK driver’s license, required to pick up another engineer daily and commute to be at work by 8am, with lots of travel and early morning start Looking for someone who is physically fit, including the ability to lift, climb, carry, and work on your feet all day, and doesn’t mind getting a bit dirty while working with pipes, chemicals, and other industrial materials (PPE provided) Ideal candidates will either hold a CSCS card or have prior experience working on construction sites; we can also provide a CSCS card for the right candidate Seeking candidates looking for a long-term career path with significant opportunities for progression, as senior water pre-commission engineers are earning up to £50k per year Do you see yourself reflected in the description above?
