Job Overview:
As an Oliver’s Travels Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality designs that communicates our messaging effectively across both digital and print platforms. You will work closely with the marketing team, as well as other departments to deliver visually stunning assets that enhance users experience, strengthens our brand identity, and drives campaign engagement and awareness. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, an eye for detail, and the ability to adapt to different formats and mediums.
Please note:
* This is a hybrid role with 3 days each week in our London office.
* The role is for 25 hours per week across 5 days.
* Start and end times are flexible making this role ideal for those wanting to start / finish earlier or later than the normal 9am to 5:30pm.
Responsibilities:
Digital Design:
* Create eye catching, engaging and visually appealing assets for inclusion on our website, email, socials and other digital platforms.
* Design animated banners, GIFs, and other motion graphics for digital marketing campaigns.
* Ensure designs are responsive and optimised for different devices and screen sizes.
Print Design:
* Design a wide range of print materials, including brochures, flyers, postcards, and direct mail pieces.
* Prepare print-ready files and work with external vendors to ensure high-quality production.
* Maintain brand consistency across all print materials.
Creative Collaboration:
* Work closely with the marketing team, as well as other departments to understand campaign / project goals and objectives.
* Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide innovative design ideas.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high design standards.
Branding & Visual Identity:
* Uphold and evolve our brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all visual touchpoints.
* Create templates and assets that can be reused across digital and print channels.
What you need:
* Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing work across both digital and print mediums.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign etc) or similar design tools.
* Experience with web design principles and motion design (animation, GIFs).
* Basic video editing for social assets.
* A good understanding of best practices for socials, web and email.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work to set deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks.
* Experience with print production processes and preparing files for print.
