Hub Manager – Inclusion Staffordshire STaRS (Part Time, Permanent)
We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Hub Manager to lead a team within our Inclusion Staffordshire STaRS (Staffordshire Treatment and Recovery System) service.
In this role, you’ll take responsibility for a specialist area and play a critical role in shaping the strategic and operational development of the service, ensuring it meets the needs of the community. Your responsibilities will include monitoring performance to ensure compliance with contracts, key performance indicators, and achieving positive outcomes.

Main duties of the job
* To be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of a range of services for adults and children
* To be responsible for a specialist function with the service
* The line management of staff within services including formal supervision and appraisals.
* Day to day operational management of their team.
* Hold a small caseload and provide treatment interventions in line with national and local agenda and guidance.
* To develop and maintain positive working relationships
* To provide accurate and timely service information and reports to Operational Lead
* To manage and maintain performance against contractual targets
* To ensure the delivery of a safe and effective service
* To be committed to working within a multi-disciplinary service framework and in close partnership with other agencies
* To ensure service user involvement/feedback is embedded in all service decision making processes
* To be involved with the development of Inclusion’s Services.

* The post-holder will manage a team as a member of the STaRS service delivering treatment options to service users
* The post-holder will manage and be responsible for a specialist function within the service
* The post holder will hold a small caseload of clients. This may change depending on service demand.
* Be responsible for providing both formal and informal supervision to designated members of staff and general support to the team as a whole.
* To support the Operation Lead with specific tasks identified by the manager to promote effective service delivery.
* To assist with the recruitment of staff when required to do so.
* To accept referrals, assess need and make appropriate recommendations
* Be responsible for maintaining a small caseload of complex clients as the key worker.
Person specification
Qualifications
* Honours Degree in a related field, a professional Qualification in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology or probation, or be able to demonstrate in application and interview equivalent experience in the Substance misuse field.
Experience
* Experience in managing a variety of professional staff
* Proven experience of supervising staff
Knowledge
* A sound knowledge of drugs, their effects, and treatment options
