Working across a range of departments including Activities, Reception and Food & Beverage, our Hospitality Assistants will provide a first-class service to help us deliver amazing experiences for our residents and go the extra mile.
Your role at Signature
From our exceptional dining experiences to our luxurious environment, our Hospitality Assistants are responsible for the upkeep of the non-clinical areas of our home.
Responsibilities will vary on each shift depending on which department you are supporting:
1. Activities: Bring a wealth of ideas to improve and maintain our residents’ wellbeing. Produce a packed daily schedule that caters to residents’ physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs. Organise key events throughout the year, such as our Summer Fete.
2. Reception: Welcome and greet visitors in a professional, friendly, and courteous way. Ensure the visitors’ book and the person’s identity are checked as far as reasonably practicable, and that the contractors’ log is signed by visiting workmen. Answer the phone, redirect calls, record messages, manage emails and faxes, and perform various office and admin duties such as filing, word processing, maintaining databases, and photocopying for other senior staff. Organise staff lunch rotas, receive and manage post, and sign for incoming post if residents are unable to receive it themselves.
3. Food & Beverage: Welcome residents, explain menu choices clearly, serve food from the kitchen, and maintain a clean dining room. Reset tables, tidy work areas, and prepare the food service areas for the next service.

* Shift times: Between the hours of 07:00-20:00. Alternate weekends required.
