About the Role: Design and deliver engaging and informative Performing Arts lessons across all year groups, incorporating elements of drama, music, and dance. Cultivate a stimulating and creative learning environment that fosters a love of performance, collaboration, and self-expression. Guide students in developing their performance skills, technical abilities, and understanding of the performing arts. Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, as applicable). Collaborate with colleagues in the Performing Arts department and contribute to school-wide productions and events. The Ideal Candidate: Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in a relevant Performing Arts subject (Drama, Music, Dance) or a combination of these disciplines. Demonstrates a strong passion for the performing arts and a captivating teaching style. Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse learning environment. Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and individual creativity. Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
