We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team at the Felling site reporting into the Quality Manager. In this role, you will ensure the factory’s equipment operates contamination-free whilst working in line with the food safety regulations.
This is a part-time position direct with Dalziel.
The Role
* Friday & Saturday working days
* 12.25 hours per week
* Friday, 11:00 - 18:00
* Saturday 05:00 - 11:00
* £12.00 p/h
* £10.00 weekly attendance bonus
Main Responsibilities
* Able to physically lift and move equipment components.
* Able to disassemble and assemble equipment components.
* Responsible for the hygiene process within the production area.
* Ensure the working environment and equipment meet internal hygiene standards at all times.
* Responsible for the appropriate storage of hygiene equipment, chemicals, and cleaning records.
* Inspect equipment and identify any replacements, malfunctions, or repairs.
* Ensure all relevant safety signs are used correctly and appropriately (e.g., wet floor sign).
* Responsible for the use and control of your own personal protective equipment.
* Actively promote clean as you go and right first time at all times.
* Adherence to food safety rules/processes.
