A well-established organisation is seeking a Buyer to join its fast-paced and highly motivated operational purchasing team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse supplier portfolio, covering several key commodity areas, ensuring effective purchasing strategies to support global customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Source parts with a focus on total cost of ownership, considering factors such as lead times, cost, quality, MOQs, and supplier reliability.
* Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to maintain efficient stock levels.
* Drive cost-saving initiatives through supplier negotiations, re-sourcing, localisation, and rationalisation.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Inventory, Customer Service, Technical Service, and Warehouse functions.
* Operate within SAP to manage procurement processes effectively.

* Experienced purchasing or supply chain professional.
* Strong supplier negotiation skills and supply chain knowledge.
* Experience in leading projects.
