Job Overview
Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual to take up the post of Student Experience Team Leader for Schools & Young People.
Based within the Student Experience Team, the successful applicant will support the development and delivery of our Schools College Partnerships in line with national policy and strategic drivers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the development and delivery of the service, providing leadership, management, and support to the Schools Team.
2. Evaluate and develop policy and process, ensuring safeguarding protocols are adhered to.
3. Facilitate a coordinated approach to the recruitment and retention of school pupils and lead on transition activity.
4. Manage partnerships with schools across the region to ensure effective two-way communication for the development of Senior Phase provision.
5. Promote understanding of learner pathways among schools, partners, advisors, parents, and carers to support the college student pipeline.
6. Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of initiatives, reporting on progress and making recommendations through effective utilization of college data and external information sources.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should be educated to SCQF Level 9 or equivalent; however, prior experience will be considered. They should demonstrate sound planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be customer/student focused, keen to work as part of a team to deliver an exceptional student experience.
