This role is perfect for someone early in their finance journey who's eager to learn, develop their skills, and contribute to delivering a best-in-class payables experience. You'll play a key part in ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time, while supporting the wider team through daily processes and exciting finance transformation projects. The Role Key Responsibilities: Process supplier invoices and payments in line with company policies and deadlines. Support with reconciliations, query resolutions, and weekly payment runs. Maintain the accounts payable inbox, ensuring queries are resolved professionally and promptly. Collaborate with finance, procurement, and other internal teams to deliver accurate reporting. Provide support during peak periods and cover for colleagues when needed. Help deliver a smooth supplier experience while supporting continuous improvement. Contribute to finance transformation and systems enhancement projects. Assist in audit preparation and other ad-hoc finance tasks. Location: This role is based in Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to our London Hub or to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office The Person Key Requirements: Strong organisational skills and a high attention to detail. A logical mindset and willingness to learn. Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance environment (preferred). Studying towards or interested in a finance qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA). A positive, proactive attitude and strong team ethic.
