Job Purpose TheAssistant Accountantwill be responsible for assisting with the preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts and supporting balance sheet reconciliations. Duties The position will have a number of key responsibilities including (but not limited to): Assisting with the preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts Supporting balance sheet reconciliations Financial analysis of performance against budget and investigating key variances Posting and preparing journals Weekly variance reporting and analysis Supporting statutory reporting requirements What it takes IATI Qualified/Part-Qualified accountant (or qualified by experience) with at least 2 years relevant experience working in a similar role. Experience of a manufacturing environment. Strong financial modelling skills including use of pivot tables and manipulation of data. Structured and organised Good Communication skills, comfortable communicating across all levels Experience of planning and organising several tasks and prioritising, and to cope with conflicting demands and deadlines.
