What you'll be doing Managing a team of chefs - ensuring the smooth day to day running of the kitchen. Managing and assisting with weekly deep cleans of the kitchen Filling out paperwork, ensuring Health and Safety paperwork and due dilligence paperwork is filled out correctly and efficiently. Ensure all daily paper / computer work is complete and that inventories and statistical reports are completed correctly and at the right time. Knowledge of all applicable policies and laws Ensuring all staff training is complete and being applied to day to day duties Arranging rotas and processing payroll correctly on Kronos. Ensure Team Members receive appropriate training to company policies; legal and health and safety requirements Offering excellent customer service to our clients Plan and lead team management meetings and daily briefings Health and Safety Ensure workpacks and staff training records are maintained Menu planning and food preperation Placing orders and stock taking, ensuring the FIFO method is followed Maintain & develop client relationships Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 – Culinary or equivalent Excellent numeracy skills; strong written and verbal skills Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2/3 or willing to obtain Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation Experience: Previous management experience in the food services industry A customer focused can-do attitude An understanding, patient individual who can deal with difficult situations if they arise Flexible approach to duties and shifts Must be eligible to work in the UK A DBS check is required for this role
