Trainee Senior Carer Chester
We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Trainee Senior Carer to join our team on a 16-hour per week contract. This hybrid role combines hands-on care delivery with office-based compliance tasks, giving you valuable experience to develop into a full salaried Senior Carer role.
You will be supporting our customers across Cheshire West and Flintshire, and working alongside a professional and supportive team that values high standards and person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality, person-centred care that promotes independence and dignity
2. Support, guide, and mentor new care staff to uphold best practices
3. Assist with audits and ensure compliance with company procedures and care standards
4. Maintain accurate records including care plans and compliance documentation
5. Work collaboratively with the management team to support day-to-day operations
What We’re Looking For:
1. Driving: Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
2. Availability: Able to commit to alternate weekends
3. Experience: Previous homecare experience, ideally with some responsibility or senior exposure
4. Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred, but not essential
5. Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and a natural ability to guide and support others
6. Knowledge: Familiarity with CQC and/or CIW regulations and care quality standards
7. Attributes: Compassionate, dependable, friendly and proactive
What We Offer:
1. Pay rate: GBP13.35 per hour (Trainee Senior Carer rate)
2. Additional pay for on-call responsibilities
3. Travel reimbursement at 40p per mile
4. GBP300 Recommend a friend bonus
