To work with Speech and Language Adult and Paeds admin departments in the smooth running of daily admin tasks to support in the delivery of a high quality, comprehensive and efficient administration and support service.
* Make up SLT files for patient notes.
* Carry out general filing and appropriate disposal of confidential documents.
* Collect and deliver post to/from post room.
* Pull patient paper notes for clinic.
* Check information on the Health Board’s electronic patient system – WPAS.
* Type reports and other basic typing.
* Understand and follow the department processes and procedures where applicable.
* Answer phone calls as appropriate.
* Send out letters to patients.
* Review and maintain stock levels of administrative resources.
* Collect letters from the printer and envelope them ready for posting.
* Print, organise and prepare packs for service delivery.
