Companies House is seeking an exceptional Director of Transformation and Business Change to drive the most ambitious reform programme since 1844. The Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 has empowered Companies House to play a significant role in the fight against economic crime. This landmark legislation is already reshaping our organisation, but the journey has only begun.

As an executive agency of the Department of Business and Trade, the data on their registers informs business decisions, combats economic crime, drives corporate transparency and supports growth.
Job Role:
As Director of Transformation and Business Change (SCS2), you will be responsible for the successful delivery of transformation and service improvements. This is a significant programme of reform and you will have extensive experience of transformation delivery to ensure Companies House achieves its ambitions.
You will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and be a member of the Executive and Main Board. You will have a proven track record of leading organisations through major change, ensuring activity is well managed and embedded across the organisation. You will support and maintain an excellent culture, shaping the future of Companies House whilst playing a pivotal leadership role in a brilliant, service-led organisation, navigating policy and legislative complexities.
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of business change and service transformation, ensuring it integrates, joining up all aspects of implementation through best practice methodologies.
You’ll be a strategic thinker who can take the broader, systems view into planning and delivery. You’ll articulate effectively to galvanise action and obtain buy-in and understanding across the organisation and with key stakeholders. Overseeing cross-cutting service design and implementation, resolving issues and managing and reporting on dependencies, you will bring consistency and agility to all aspects of service delivery.
To excel in this leadership role, you must have a proven track record of successfully delivering large scale transformation and of raising standards and quality.
