The Leadership and Talent Partner supports the Head of Talent in designing and delivering strategies and programmes to successfully identify, manage and develop leaders and talent across DLG. Accountable for the successful implementation of leadership and talent programmes, the Leadership and Talent Partner works with the broader People Partnering & Organisational Effectiveness team and the wider HR function. What you’ll be doing: Embed and execute Leadership and Talent strategies across the business working through ExCo, Enterprise Leaders Network (ELN) and people managers. Evolve the leadership capability across the organisation to enable the culture ambitions; drive the implementation of the Talent and Leadership strategy across the Group. Lead the partnership with external assessment and leadership development vendors to deliver impactful development interventions and selection and development assessments for leaders and talent, collaborating with other HR teams including Talent Acquisition, People Partners and Learning. Support the development and execution of a DLG-wide assessment strategy to support leadership, talent and learning practices. Implement and embed a robust Leadership Capability model across all HR practices and ensure it remains fit-for-purpose. Drive key talent identification, management and development initiatives across the business, collaborating with HR and business stakeholders to ensure appropriate documentation and delivery of outcomes. Drive Succession planning and development initiatives across the business, collaborating with HR and business stakeholders to ensure appropriate documentation and delivery of outcomes. Co-design and co-deploy progressive initiatives and programmes within Leadership and Talent plan, directly and in partnership with wider HR teams to ensure continued uplift in capability across leadership, people managers and wider talent pools. In partnership with Head of Talent, design / source capability building interventions as necessary in conjunction with the Learning team or external parties. Understand business and market needs, leveraging data and insights to translate them into an executable and impactful Leadership and Talent practices. Identify, own and manage the risks involved in running our business appropriate to role, and escalate where appropriate. Maintain accurate leadership reporting and support in reporting and analysis across the Leadership, Talent, Early Careers and D&I team. Keep up-to-date with external best practice and bring ideas and opportunities to leadership and talent strategies. What you'll need: Experience in Talent, Culture and Leadership methodologies, strategies and tools with successful implementation and demonstrable results. Evidence of supporting or leading the delivery of a Talent and Leadership agenda across a business with effective means to measure behaviour change and business benefits. Ability to be both strategic and execution oriented, i.e. paint a long-term picture; think holistically and drive implementation. Ability to influence, consult and manage key stakeholders to deliver on the talent and leadership agenda, driving interventions that works across business areas and deliver business impact.
