We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engine Stand Assembly Operative (ESA) to be part of our Operations team. This role is vital to ensuring that our engine transportation stands are assembled to the highest standards and ready for dispatch, contributing directly to our commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
Position Summary:
The Engine Stand Assembly Operative (ESA) is responsible for performing assembly, quality checks, and dispatch preparations of engine transportation stands, as well as managing spare parts kitting. The role requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly: Assemble engine transportation stands to exact specifications, ensuring readiness for dispatch.
Kitting & Quality Control: Prepare and check spare parts for assembly, performing quality checks and tests as per product requirements.
Workshop Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment in compliance with Health & Safety standards.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, lifting devices, and other mechanical equipment.
Team Support: Cover duties for team members as required and support new starters, trainees, and placements by providing guidance, training, and sharing best practices.
General Expectations:
Health & Safety Compliance: Always perform tasks responsibly, upholding personal and team safety, as well as the safety of the company's clients, suppliers, and the general public.
Continual Improvement: Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain a current and comprehensive skill set.

Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience with assembly processes, preferably in a mechanical or manufacturing environment.
* Forklift license or willingness to complete training.
o Need a driving licence - there is site travel.
o Engineering experience - assembly or mechanical preferred.
o Ability to read engineering diagrams (desirable)
o FLT licence (desirable).
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and adherence to safety protocols.
Hours are 8am -4.30pm and Friday is 7am to 1pm.
