Our client is a successful business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Southampton and do require travel to their offices but also offer a hybrid model of working.
Job Description
As the Accounts Receivable Clerk - German Speaker, you will be responsible for:
* Reconciling & arranging timely collection of booking debt
* Responsible for BAU responsibilities on relevant systems
* Liaising with travel agents and internal departments (in particular Sales and Contact centre) to resolve queries on bookings.
* Ensure agent commission is paid on time and in line with agreed payment terms.
* Liaising with travel agents & our global brands to ensure banking forms are completed to allow refunds & payments to be made to guests.
* Working towards targets to reduce overdue debt responsibly.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful for the Accounts Receivable Clerk - German Speaker position, you must:
* Fluent in German to required business level
* Clear and concise communicator - excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong planning skills - able to organise and prioritise work
* Resilient - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Competent with Microsoft Office specifically Excel.
* Previous experience in a customer facing role
