This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed person to be part of a team at Meadowpark, where we cater for secondary aged pupils with autism and other complex needs difficulties. Meadowpark pupils require a highly individualised and adapted approach to teaching and learning in order to overcome the barriers that they face.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers, learning support assistants and our pupil support worker, to help the provision achieve its aim of providing a highly effective and personalised approach.
The School and Family Support Worker will provide the vital link between home and school in order to remove barriers, promote engagement, pupil well-being and support the whole family unit.
Candidates must have the ability to engage pupils that have communication difficulties related to Autism and associated complex needs, as well as proven experience of working with vulnerable young people and families.
