Key Responsibilities
1. Take lead on carrying out Health & Safety contractual service visits, providing documentation and advice and assistance as required.
2. Conduct yourself in a professional manner (including appearance, use of PPE, communication, etc.) ensuring compliance with both company and departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
3. Visit clients and provide an in-person experience to support and advise where necessary.
4. Investigate incidents and accidents, recommending preventative measures.
5. Undertake health and safety visits to client premises in accordance with departmental protocols and contract requirements, in particular where SLA’s are in place.
6. Submit any relevant reports or other associated documents in accordance with client demand and departmental protocols.
7. Advise and instruct clients in the use of Health and Safety Management systems and other relevant technical documents and online services.
8. Act as the client's personal H&S lead to support and streamline any processes or queries.
9. Advise clients on matters of Health and Safety standards and best practices affecting their business.
10. Manage time effectively to provide an efficient service to clients.
11. Attend company meetings, courses, etc. when required to update and maintain professional skills/knowledge.
12. Maintain cleanliness and security of your company vehicle.
13. Support the client through effective crisis management where required.
What You Need
1. Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety rules and regulations.
2. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
3. Confidence in providing practical solutions to clients regarding H&S.
4. Ability to deliver a high-quality consultancy service within commercial boundaries.
5. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
6. Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to ongoing changes.
7. Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
8. Attention to detail to spot hazards and complete investigations.
9. Process-driven with the ability to use your initiative.
10. Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
11. Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
