We are looking for a Band 5 nurse who is compassionate, enjoys a challenge, and is skilled in the delivery of holistic nursing care. We have an established training and induction plan for all new team members, and experience in the community is therefore not essential.
You will be expected to work flexibly between the hours of 7am and 7pm, 7 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays, across Community nursing and Intermediate Care (nursing) to meet the needs of the Service.
We deliver high-quality care to housebound patients in our locality and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and in partnership with primary care and secondary care. We are a motivated and caring team to both patients and colleagues. Our team is flexible and promotes a healthy work/home life balance.
Applicants must already hold their NMC registration for the position as stated in the JD&PS.

The Coastal Community Nurse team is currently based across Teignmouth and Dawlish and the surrounding areas. A busy but friendly and supportive team, we are committed to staff development through education and training, helping staff realise their potential in topics of interest to them and encouraging career pathways in Community Nursing.
We pride ourselves on delivering high standards of care and building relationships within the communities we are part of. We are actively working towards a more integrated approach to care delivery and work closely with our Intermediate Care, Social care, and voluntary care sector colleagues to achieve this.
