We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated full-time Science Teacher to join our team starting from the October half term. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of delivering A-level lessons. You will play a key role in helping students understand and appreciate the wonders of the natural world, fostering their scientific knowledge and inquiry skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that cover the National Curriculum, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
* Engage and motivate students, helping them to develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts and practical skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to ensure continued academic growth.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and active participation.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the Science curriculum.
* Participate in school activities, including parent evenings, extracurricular clubs, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* A degree in a Science-related subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
* Experience teaching Science at secondary level, with a strong grasp of the GCSE curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for science education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
* The ability to inspire students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
