We’re after someone to join our award-winning creative and digital agency that can come in and inspire us as a social specialist with 2+ years of experience within an agency environment.
We want a brave thinker that isn’t afraid to challenge the norm and look to push socially driven creative ideas and explore the potential of existing and emerging social platforms for our partners. With experience in supporting the creation, execution, and improvement of social strategies that are designed to drive engagement and return on investment. While supporting and working with the wider creative and digital marketing teams within Cygnus to ensure our social insight, analysis, and execution is of the highest level for our partners.
Key responsibilities:
* Able to support the generation of social-first ideas, based on current trends and platforms to support and enhance our creative offering.
* Able to help manage and execute social media strategies through competitive research, insight, benchmarking, and audience research.
* Support the day-to-day management of partner strategies, including generating, editing, publishing, and sharing daily content to create meaningful engagement.
* Continuously look to improve the delivery of said strategies by capturing and analysing the appropriate data, metrics, and insight in which to act upon.
* Delivery of weekly and monthly reporting of key metrics against social media strategy.
* Help communicate and demonstrate our social offering to new and existing partners, helping all our partners to achieve their social objectives.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a social team setting.
* Support the development and creation of internal social strategies, company pages, and content, with the goal of increasing engagement and repositioning our social identity.
* Added benefit: Paid media experience, content creation, and social video skills.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
* Solid understanding of how all existing social media platforms work and how to create and optimise content designed to specifically support each dedicated platform and engage specific audiences.
* Demonstrate delivery.
* Proven working experience of social media marketing, audience research, data-driven analysis, and delivery of ROI.
* Proven working knowledge of organic activation (Paid activations would be a plus).
* Demonstrate social knowledge and experience of using analytical social tools.
* Good communication skills, both within an agency and with clients.
* Excellent written and editorial skills.
* Able to digest complex constructs and information to support key stakeholders.
* Can-do, innovative, results-oriented approach to delivering solutions.
* Passionate and engaged with new platforms, media, and digital adoption.
* Self-disciplined and motivated, with good time management skills.
