We are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner
The business is looking for a Finance Business Partner to partner with key internal stakeholders in delivering financial growth and budget attainment within the business.
The role is responsible for producing analysis and providing insight to help key stakeholders around the business understand the financial impacts of commercial decisions. This will also include providing support in financial planning/forecasting.
The primary objectives of the role
* Working closely with key stakeholders providing financial analysis and support to the business.
* Production of weekly variances report analysing business performance across customers. Identify and highlight key weekly trends and recommendations to be communicated to key stakeholders and directors.
* Identify operational performance working closely with the Planning and Operational teams plans providing robust variance analysis.
* Creation and maintenance of forecast models. Assist in the preparation of annual budget and rolling reforecasts.
* Understand the financial impact of Capital Expenditure and the impact on own manufacturing efficiency. Communicate this to relevant stakeholders to enable better decision making.
* Work alongside analytics and BI functions to drive improvements in insight, reporting and processes.
* Work closely with the financial control team on Management Accounts accuracy and insight.
What you can already do
* Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role.
* Higher level understanding of Excel is essential.
* Ability to design, create and interpret complex data sources and present findings to key stakeholders is essential.
* Analytical - the ability to analyse, interpret and present financial and business data and able to convert data into insights.
* Organisational skills - personal efficiency, time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands are key.
* Communication skills - managing diverse personalities and viewpoints.
* Commercial acumen - to get involved in strategic decision-making within the business as an influencer.
* Role modelling - demonstrate and lead on the values, initiatives and culture of the organisation.
